Service Update: COVID-19

IMB Wynyard branch closed Monday 28 June 2021

Following the tightened restrictions introduced by NSW Health in the Sydney CBD, our Hunter St branch will be closed on Monday, June 28 for the wellbeing of our customers and team. We will update you as the situation changes.

All other branches remain open and will be following COVID-safe protocols.

As the situation in NSW continues to evolve, our team is still ready to assist you. We will be following best practices as laid out by the NSW Government and health authorities.

Impacted areas

Our branches in the Sydney (including Picton), Wollongong and Shellharbour areas are all in the impacted areas and will be serving new customers and members under the conditions listed below.

In our branches

All of our branches are currently open in each of their usual operating hours, Monday to Friday.

Reduced branch capacity

As per the new mandated guidelines, each of our branches will have a reduced capacity. This number will be clearly displayed at the front of each branch. We appreciate your patience during busier periods.

Masks

It is mandatory that masks be worn in our branches in impacted regions, by both our team members and our customers. Masks are also to be worn in our Melbourne branch as per current Victoria guidelines.

If you do not have a mask, please ask a member of the IMB team and we will provide one for you.

Hand Sanitiser

Is available to all our customers when in our branches.

Other ways to bank with IMB

There are many ways you can bank with us that don’t require you to visit our branches, including Internet Banking, the IMB Mobile App, Phone Banking and calling our team on 133 462. The full range of options can be found on our Ways to Bank page.

Branch updates

Narooma Plaza Branch Opening

Now Open

The temporary IMB Bank branch in Narooma Plaza (the ex-Millers store unit) is now open for business! We greatly appreciate the patience of our members.

Our new branch is temporary for now and as such will open as a cashless branch. The branch is staffed by familiar, friendly faces and open to all enquiries and digital banking solutions.

For those that need fast cash, there are a number of ATMs in the Plaza and many now don’t charge an ATM withdrawal fee (if there is any charge it will be advised at the start of the transaction).

Our staff can also provide you with a Cashcard if you don’t already have one, which in turn will allow you to perform cash transactions at the Post Office if you don’t want to travel to one of our other nearby branches.
