Be alert to scammers that contact you unexpectedly, claiming to want to help you with a fraud on your IMB card by attending your home to collect it from you.
IMB Bank (including our Fraud Team) will never contact you to make arrangements to send a courier or an IMB staff member to attend your home to take possession of a compromised IMB card, or to obtain secure banking information from you.
Our technology systems enable us to take actions to deal with any compromised cards and to secure your accounts without needing to have your card in our possession. Never give possession of your card, or share your password, PIN, or secure codes sent to you by SMS, with anyone – including someone claiming to be from IMB.
If you think you may have been targeted by a scammer, please call IMB back directly on 133 462 or visit your local branch to confirm if it's a legitimate request.
We want to empower you with the knowledge to stay vigilant, protect your finances and act quickly if you suspect you’ve been targeted.
