Yerrinbool Village Group

With IMB Bank Community Foundation funding, Yerrinbool Village Group’s Railway Gardens Picnic Area Upgrade will transform an existing shelter into a more accessible, welcoming community space. New concrete flooring and an additional picnic setting will provide visitors, families and local groups with a practical place to gather, rest and enjoy the gardens in comfort. As Yerrinbool’s main outdoor meeting place, the gardens encourage social connection, volunteering and quiet reflection. Residents are welcomed to join weekly gardening activities, share morning tea and meet visitors. The upgrade will strengthen this valued community hub, creating more opportunities for participation, belonging, peace and enjoyment for everyone across the wider village.
