Autism Swim

Autism Swim’s Neuroinclusive Aquatics Academy is a world-leading online learning platform helping aquatic professionals, allied health practitioners, families and carers create safer, more inclusive water experiences. Its evidence-informed courses cover communication, sensory needs, behaviour support, visual supports, drowning prevention, wandering and skill-building, with flexible pathways from short courses to certification. The 2026 IMB Bank Community Foundation grant will develop new, practical content and fully subsidise access for regional and remote families. By removing cost and location barriers, the project will equip more people to support neurodivergent swimmers, strengthen confidence around water and promote autonomy, participation and emotional safety in aquatic environments.
