The Suicide Prevention Network

Volunteer Connect and Evolve will create a digital training and resource platform for volunteers, students and staff working across mental health, peer support and suicide prevention. Developed by The Suicide Prevention Network, it will place practical, locally relevant tools, learning and referral information in one accessible location. The platform will strengthen confidence and capability, helping people respond appropriately to those experiencing mental health concerns or suicide risk. Grounded in the Network’s community-led approach and connection to local services, the initiative will support a skilled, informed and sustainable workforce across Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the wider Hunter.
