Many adults living with a disability are taken to playgrounds for physical exercise and recreation, unfortunately these playgrounds are too small and sometimes people of different abilities aren’t welcome. The Playground Project is an adult-sized playground providing a safe, purpose built and welcoming play space for young adults with an intellectual disability. IMB funding will support the purchase and installation of an in-ground, wheelchair friendly trampoline.
