Shoalhaven Heads Native Botanic Garden

Along the River Road Botanic Walk, native plants tell a story about the Shoalhaven landscape and the life it supports. Shoalhaven Heads Native Botanic Garden will install interpretive signs identifying species and explaining their ecological value, including their contribution to biodiversity and river health. An IMB Bank Community Foundation grant will help turn the existing walkway into an engaging, self-guided learning experience for residents, visitors, families and school groups. Clear, accessible information will encourage people to look more closely, deepen their understanding of local vegetation and inspire greater care for the plants and natural environments that make Shoalhaven Heads distinctive.
