Sandon Point Surf Life Saving Club

Float to Survive Illawarra

Float to Survive is a drowning prevention campaign developed by Ken Holloway, President of Sandon Point SLSC. It aims to raise awareness and change behaviour to avoid drowning by teaching energy conservation techniques to keep airways above water. Targeting CALD communities with higher drowning risks, the campaign will deliver theory and practical lessons to the multicultural communities and schools of the Illawarra.
