Children living in rural and remote areas of Australia are up to five times more likely than their city counterparts to present for their first day of school with developmental health issues, negatively impacting their ability to participate and learn effectively. IMB funding will bring Royal Far West’s free developmental health screening clinic – the Healthy Kids Bus – to high-need communities in Southern NSW, providing health checks, referrals, information and supported pathways to care for developmentally vulnerable young children.
