The Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) program provides strategies to young people to enable them to speak up when travelling as a passenger with a newly-licensed driver, if that driver exhibits risky or dangerous behaviour. Speeding, disobeying road rules or being easily distracted are all examples of behaviour which can result in accidents, with possible serious injury or death as a result.
