Every year, Year 11 students from government and independent schools across the Southern Highlands come together to confront the realities of driving. Rotary Club of Moss Vale’s free U Turn the Wheel program uses six interactive workshops to explore road safety, risky behaviour and the consequences of choices behind the wheel. Supported by the IMB Bank Community Foundation grant, volunteers and specialist presenters give young people practical knowledge before they become independent drivers. Participants leave better prepared to recognise hazards, resist peer pressure and make responsible decisions. The program aims to build safer driving habits and reduce road trauma locally.
