The program involves all Year 11 students from Ulladulla High School, a Highway Patrol officer and representatives of all the other emergency services, a driving instructor, mechanics from the Shoalhaven Mechanical Services and volunteers. Students are provided with an opportunity to see firsthand what is involved in their work and at the scene of an accident, attend a Driver Training facility, and are involved in a variety of on-track activities with trained drivers in a dual control car. The main purpose of our program is to reduce fatality and injury rates of young people, and promote safe driving behaviours.
