Rotary Club of Goulburn

Rotary Club of Goulburn’s U Turn the Wheel program gives Year 11 students practical road safety education focused on personal responsibility, safer driving and awareness. Interactive sessions with Police, Ambulance and Southern Area Health combine real-world insights, role-play activities and guidance on vehicle selection and maintenance. A 2026 IMB Bank Community Foundation grant will support delivery of the program, helping young drivers recognise hazards, understand the consequences of risky behaviour and make informed decisions behind the wheel. By building knowledge and confidence before students drive independently, the initiative aims to encourage safer habits and reduce road trauma across the Goulburn community.
