With the aim of helping new and emerging drivers understand the importance of road safety, Rotary Club of Camden’s U Turn the Wheel project engages experts in a range of related fields to present to students in Camden communities. Students not only hear about vehicle maintenance and insurance but also hear directly from victims of serious road trauma. In its 10 years of operation, the program has seen a significant reduction in fatalities of young people in the Camden LGA.
