Parramatta Mission

At Parramatta Mission’s Meals Plus service, food is often the first step towards safety, support and stability. Volunteers help prepare and serve more than 300 meals each day and distribute weekday hampers to people experiencing homelessness, food insecurity and hardship. Growing Meals Plus Community Hub will upgrade commercial kitchen equipment and expand storage, enabling safer, more efficient preparation and better use of donated food. A Foundation grant will fund improvements, increasing capacity as demand grows and supporting Parramatta Mission’s goal of sourcing all food through in-kind donations. The project will strengthen food sustainability, volunteer operations and support for the community.
