Parentline ACT has seen a 30% increase in calls due to family stress caused by recent bushfires and the impact of the COVID pandemic. Funding will provide mental health training for 15 volunteers in Canberra enabling them to provide non-judgemental, child centred counselling to parents and families to enhance the wellbeing and mental health of children.
