An IRB is an essential part of equipment for Surf Life Saving Clubs. It enables surf lifesavers to perform rescues and provide much needed first aid services quickly and efficiently and is the most effective way to search for a swimmer who may have been swept along the beach to unpatrolled areas. A new IRB will help expand shoreline patrols, and swiftly perform rescues and first aid services at this popular Illawarra beach.
