For 44 years, Narooma Rescue Squad has been a vital responder for various rescues, specialising in road crashes and more. However, their hydraulic rescue tools are outdated. With their Foundation grant, the squad will purchase modern, environmentally friendly tools – a Battery-operated Spreader and Ram ("Jaws of Life") with lithium-ion batteries. This upgrade ensures alignment with current vehicle specifications and enhances their capabilities for efficient emergency responses.
