Safe driving is an initiative attempting to reduce the road-related deaths of young people. Students from year 11 attend a three-day program where they engage with NSW Police Highway Patrol, NSW Ambulance, NSW Fire & Rescue, SES, Mechanics, Driving Instructors, and victims of road trauma. In addition, students complete practical driving components under instruction including emergency braking exercises and use of 'beer googles'.
