The Long Beach Community Association (LBCA) actively engages with Eurobodalla Council on community matters. Teaming up with Maloneys Beach Residents Association, they initiated Plotters Community Garden after the 2020 bushfires. Thanks to Foundation funding, LBCA is securing the garden with fencing to protect plants from kangaroos, acquiring a tool shed, and setting up a produce table for surplus sales. This initiative fosters community learning through workshops and demonstrations, promoting food production knowledge.
