Kiama Meals on Wheels

Kiama Meals on Wheels’ Storage Capacity Building – Special Diet Meals project will purchase a commercial three-door freezer to meet growing demand for modified and specialised meals. The added capacity will allow the local service to safely store a wider choice of nutritious options tailored to clients’ dietary needs, helping them remain well-nourished and independent at home. Volunteers will continue delivering meals across the Kiama community while providing valuable wellbeing checks and social connection. Together with the organisation’s nutrition screening and wellness support, the upgrade will strengthen early identification of nutritional risk and improve quality of life for vulnerable residents.
