Skills Building in Mental Health

Creative engagement is an excellent catalyst for self-expression and provides a means by which young people can tackle their thoughts and feelings. Heaps Decent works to empower children and young people to express themselves through music and multi-media projects. With many participants experiencing mental health challenges, Heaps Decent will use funding to train program volunteers in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
