Fearless Women

Mentoring for Teenage Girls

ACT

Fearless Women’s Mentoring for Teenage Girls program provides free, strengths-based support for girls and young women aged 10 to 25 in Canberra and surrounding areas. Participants are matched with trained volunteer mentors who draw on lived experience to offer friendship, guidance and a listening ear without judgement. Over a two-year relationship, mentors help young women navigate challenges including study pressures, relationships, body image and uncertainty about the future. Now in its third year of Foundation funding, the program creates a safe, inclusive sense of belonging while building confidence, courage, resilience, hope and self-belief. It empowers participants to find their voice, recognise their strengths and move forward with confidence.
