Escabags

Based in the Illawarra, previous IMB Bank Community Foundation recipient Escabags supports individuals and families escaping domestic and family abuse across Australia. The charity provides free, discreet Escape Bags containing practical essentials, safety items and comforting products for people leaving dangerous situations. Available through a nationwide network of trusted stockists, the non-gendered bags come in Single Adult and Parent and Child versions. This year’s grant will fund 1,500 personal safety alarms, giving recipients an additional source of reassurance and protection as they take their first steps towards safety and recovery with dignity.
