Community Activities Lake Macquarie

At the Bonnells Bay Youth & Community Centre, local ideas are shaping a welcoming hub where young people, families and residents of all ages can connect, participate and feel supported. Activating Bonnells Bay will build on existing playgroups, neighbourhood days, activities and service connections by providing community development training and targeted equipment upgrades. With support from the IMB Bank Community Foundation, CALM will strengthen leadership, expand participation and help the community co-design programs reflecting Southlakes’ needs and aspirations. The project will enhance an inclusive space that welcomes more than 5,000 people each year and brings support closer to home.
