Cancer Patients Foundation

A national community service program founded by the Cancer Patients Foundation, Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages, genders, and cancer types who are undergoing cancer treatment. The program offers cancer patients practical strategies to manage the physical, psychological, and social challenges associated with cancer treatment. Since its inception in 1990, Look Good Feel Better has supported more than 200,000 Australians through free, accessible services. Hands-on resources, expert advice and opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges help participants feel more confident, informed and supported throughout cancer treatment. The Foundation grant will provide a combination of services, including face-to-face workshops at Tradies Gymea, Home Delivered Confidence Kits, access to two virtual workshops and weekly Feel Better Fridays. Together, these services support participants’ wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem throughout treatment. Providing this support costs $100 per person. “Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the workshop at Gymea.
