The VRA in Bega are primary responders to road crash rescue and all other rescue operations as instructed by the NSW Police. The Bega VRA have been nominated to provide back-up support for the local ambulance service when the ambulance officers are out of town or busy. The project will ensure VRA can support people who have a cardiac arrest by providing CPR first aid as required and potentially save lives.
