IMB’s existing cheque services provider won’t be supporting the service after 31 May, 2021. To keep offering this service, we’re changing to a new cheque services provider, which means for all cheque book users:

  • Any cheques you have written or may write from your current chequebook which are presented for payment by a payee after 31 May 2021, will not be honoured
  • If you’ve used a cheque to pay someone recently, or you’re aware that a cheque you’ve written has not been presented for payment yet, please encourage them to bank the cheque promptly to ensure they’re paid or discuss alternate payment methods such as those set out below.

What does this mean for you if you are a regular cheque user?

We’re sending you a replacement chequebook which will arrive before the end of May. When it arrives, please securely destroy your current chequebook.

What does this mean for you as an irregular cheque user?

Your existing chequebook should be securely destroyed. If you do wish to continue to use cheques to make payments, please reach out to us and we’ll send you a new chequebook
