I am trying to pay someone and I’m getting a ‘No Match’ outcome. What should I do?

The Confirmation of Payee service checks the details you have entered against the details held by the recipient’s bank. If you have received a Close Match or No Match outcome, we strongly recommend that you do not proceed until you are sure it is not a scam and you have confirmed the details you have entered with the intended recipient as retrieving scam or mistaken payments can be difficult.
