As members may be aware, IMB’s share price moved from a closing price on Thursday, 25 June 2013, of $4.54 per share to a closing share price of $4.89 on Friday, 26 July 2013.

During what has been a challenging period for financial institutions, IMB, one of Australia’s largest building societies, has again reported solid results for the six months ended 31 December 2012.

IMB Members are advised that the 2012 Annual General Meeting is to be held on Tuesday, 30 October 2012 at 10.00am (Sydney time), at the Hoskins Room, Novotel Northbeach Hotel, 2-14 Cliff Road, North Wollongong.

IMB Ltd (“IMB”) today announces the successful completion of its off-market share buyback (“Buyback”). The Buyback was the first in a series of buybacks that IMB expects to undertake over the medium term.

IMB Ltd advises that the Deemed Market Value for the Off-Market Buyback of IMB Shares is $3.45. The final Buyback Price will be determined by applying the Buyback Discount of between 5% to 10% to the Deemed Market Value.

IMB announces that the Buyback Date for the Off-Market Share Buyback will be Thursday 27 September 2012.

IMB Building Society has today announced a solid result for the year ending 30 June 2012, with operating profit after tax of $30.1 million, slightly down on the last year’s result of $31.0 million.

On 30 May 2012, and following an external review, IMB announced its intention, subject to meeting certain conditions, to undertake a series of annual share buybacks over the medium to long term.
