Disposable income: is that something you recycle?

We recycle disposable plates and cups, we throw out disposable nappies. The whole concept of something being disposable is that you can get rid of it. The same applies to your disposable income, it’s the money you can burn (though obviously not actually burn – that is illegal) or the money left over after your needs have been covered.
