Recurring loan repayments can be made by:
- Periodical payment from your IMB account or direct debit from another bank
This is an automatic regular payment which authorises IMB to withdraw from your nominated account at a set frequency. The amount may change automatically if your minimum repayment amount changes
- IMB Internet Banking or IMB Mobile App
This is a self-managed recurring transfer which you can set up from your nominated account at a recurring frequency. The amount will not change automatically if your minimum repayment amount changes
Checking your minimum repayment amount
The easiest way to check your minimum monthly repayment amount is:
- IMB Internet Banking
- Log into Internet Banking
- Select your loan account
- Select Account Information
- Select Additional Details
- IMB Mobile App
- Log into the IMB Mobile App
- Select your loan account
- Hit the menu button in the top right corner and select Details
- Calling IMB Direct on 133 462 or visiting your local branch
Even though your repayment is due monthly, you may make repayments fortnightly or weekly as long as this monthly repayment is met.

To set up or change your loan repayments via periodical payment from your IMB account or direct debit from another bank, download and complete our Direct Debit Request / Authority for Periodical Payment form.
Please email your completed form to solution.services@imb.com.au, drop it off at your local IMB Branch or mail (no stamp required) to IMB Bank,Reply Paid 2077, Wollongong, 2500.
IMB Internet Banking or IMB Mobile App
If you prefer not to set up a direct debit or periodical payment, you can set up a recurring transfer from your IMB account in Internet Banking or the IMB Mobile App. If your minimum monthly repayment amount changes, you’ll need to amend the amount you’re paying to ensure you meet the minimum repayment amount.
Note: any recurring payments set up in the Mobile App will need to be changed or cancelled in Internet Banking by selecting Pay and then Scheduled Payments.
- Log into Internet Banking
- Click Pay and select ‘Own Account Transfer’
- Choose the accounts you want to transfer between as well as the amount
- Under When select ‘Make a recurring transfer’. Select your transfer frequency, start date and ending
- Click Continue
- Review your details and click Confirm
- Log into the Mobile App
- Select Pay and then Transfer between accounts
- Select the account you want to transfer from and then the account you want to transfer to
- Enter the amount
- Click the date and select Recurring payment
- Select the start date and click Done
- Select the frequency and click Done
- Select the end date
- Click Pay
