IMB is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Margaret Towers as a non-executive director to the Board of IMB and its subsidiaries, to fill a casual vacancy.
Margaret is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. She is a non-executive director and chairperson of the Audit Committee of both Platinum Asset Management Ltd (an ASX 200 Listed entity) and Opportunity International Australia, a not for profit entity that uses funds raised to provide micro-finance loans to the poor throughout Asia.
She was formerly an Executive Vice President at Bankers Trust Australia and now acts as an independent consultant to a number of Australian Financial Institutions which have included ING Australia, Suncorp and Challenger Financial Services.
The Board welcomes Margaret’s depth of experience in the areas of accounting, audit, compliance, risk management and technology operations within the financial services sector.
