IMB Members are advised that the 2010 Annual General Meeting is to be held on Tuesday, 26 October 2010 at 10.00am, at the Novotel Northbeach Hotel, 2-14 Cliff Road, North Wollongong, NSW.

Following the retirement of long-standing IMB director Mr George Edgar, IMB is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Noel Cornish as a non-executive director to the Board of IMB and its subsidiaries.

Despite difficult trading conditions, IMB delivered strong results for the year ending June 2010, with operating profit after tax of $29.1 million.

Under Part 7.2A of the Corporations Act, ASIC now has the function of supervising financial markets, the operators of which are licensed under subsection 795B(1) of the Act, which includes IMB Ltd.

Strong demand for home loans and a continued focus on costs has assisted one of Australia’s largest building societies, IMB, to deliver a strong interim result for the half year, ended 31 December 2009.
