2. What browser should I be using?

The new IMB website has been optimised for the following browsers.

3. Why doesn’t the site work on my Mac?

The website has been tested on both Firefox and Safari on both a PC and Mac and there should be no issues with the website displaying on a Mac.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the browser you are using (see What browser should I be using?). If you are using the latest software and still experiencing problems please contact IMB via our online enquiry form or call us on 133 462.

The website has been optimised for monitors running at a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or higher.  Some users who have a screen resolution set to 800 x 600 or lower may need to scroll horizontally in order to see the whole website.

5. Why does the browser close down when trying to view the new site?

There could be a number of reasons an internet browser is shutting when trying to view the new site.

The first step is to make sure you are using the latest version of the browser (see What browser should I be using?). If you are using the latest software and still experiencing problems please contact IMB via our online enquiry form or call us on 133 462.

6. How do I print information from the website?

There is a 'print icon’ located on the top right of every page. Simply click on this link to get a printer-friendly version of the page you are looking at.

7. How do I clear my internet cache?

Sometimes a computer’s cache needs to be emptied to clear out old files and allow it to access websites properly.

  • within the 'General' tab, click on the 'Delete Cookies' button AND the 'Delete Files' button;
  • select the 'Security' tab;
  • click on the 'Custom Level' button;
  • scroll down to the 'scripting' section; and
  • select the 'enable' radio button.

If you are using Firefox:

  • select the 'Tools' tab at the top of the Internet browser;
  • select 'Options' from the drop down menu;
  • select the 'Privacy' tab,
  • click on the 'Cookies' tab and select the 'Clear Cookies Now' button;
  • click on the 'Cache' tab and select the 'Clear Cache Now' button;
  • select the 'Content' tab; and
  • tick the 'Enable Javascript' option.

8. How can I view forms and other documents?

Some forms and documents on the website are provided in .pdf format; these require version 4.0 (or later) of Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can visit the Adobe web site for more information about Acrobat Reader.

You can download Acrobat Reader by clicking on the "Get Acrobat Reader" button at the bottom of every page with a link to a .pdf document.
