So what is Better Value Banking?
Better Value Banking is what you’ll see demonstrated through better service, better products, better value for our members and better support of your local community.
At IMB, we always strive to deliver the highest levels of personal service to our members. It’s also important to us that our members are completely satisfied. We make sure we measure our performance by asking our members regularly how they rate us and were delighted when the recent member survey showed that 96%* of our members are satisfied with IMB.
IMB is proud to offer a wide range of competitive products including low cost home loans, high interest investment options, and transaction and savings accounts to meet your everyday needs – and budget. A number of our products are awarded the top rating by independent reviewers so you can be confident that you’re getting a great deal.
Better Value for Members
Around 75% of IMB members don’t pay any transaction fees, and you can be one of them! At IMB all automated phone and internet banking services are totally free and all IMB members can earn a Member Transaction Allowance (MTA) to offset against any transaction fees they do incur.
In addition most of our savings and many of our loan products carry no monthly account keeping fees delivering members a truly low fee everyday banking solution!
Better support of your local Community
As a Building Society our heritage is immersed in community. For over 130 years we have strengthened our ties and now pride ourselves on our active community involvement.
We recognise that our responsibilities extend to our impact on the environment and the communities in which we serve. Since 1999 the IMB Community Foundation has offered funding support back to the community.
IMB also supports a variety of charity, community and sporting organisations and events including provision of marquees for use by sporting clubs, schools, charities and other community groups within the regions we serve.
